Barrier-Free Access for Wheelchair Users
From JR Sendai Station
- From either the Shinkansen concourse or the JR concourse, take the elevator to BF.
- Take another elevator to B1, where Subway Sendai Station is located.
- After passing through the subway ticket gates, take the elevator down to B2 for the Subway Namboku Line.
- Follow the signs and take another elevator down to B3, where the Namboku Line platforms are located.
- Take the Namboku Line from Platform 1 toward Tomizawa and get off at Itsutsubashi Station, which is one stop away.
From Itsutsubashi Subway Station
- Take the elevator up to B1 and pass through the ticket gates.
- South Exit 1 has a wheelchair lift. To use it, press the call button to ask a station staff member for assistance. Please note: as of August 2026, the lift is out of service, and its operating instructions are available only in Japanese. While the lift is unavailable, use the elevator near South Exit 2 to reach street level.
- South Exit 2 has an elevator to street level.
- From South Exit 2, go down the ramp and turn around.
- Cross the street in two stages, using the pedestrian signal on the traffic island to reach the opposite side.
- If you use South Exit 1, you will already be on that side of the street.
From Itsutsubashi Station South Exit 1
- Turn north, the opposite direction from the Iris Ohyama Building, and continue straight. When you see a FamilyMart across the street, turn left.
- Continue straight. When you see a Lawson, turn right and cross the street. For safety, continue along the sidewalk on the right-hand side.
- Continue straight until you reach the campus gate. Turn left and cross the street.
- Enter the campus. The venue is in the second building on your right.
