In the preparation of the presentation of your VRST 2017 paper, we would like you to consider the following instructions.
Timing
It is important that you keep the timing of your presentation and that you arrive at the presentation room 15 minuntes before the session starts to meet the session chair and test your presentation. Please note that you may test your presentation at any time during the conference by consulting a student volunteer or a member of the technical staff

The time slots allocated for full and short paper presentations are:

Full papers: 20 min presentation + 5 min questions

Short papers: 15 min presentation + 5 min questions
Formatting and A/V

The aspect ratio for presentations should be 16:9 with an expected resolution of 1920 x 1080 (Full HD).

VGA and HDMI connectors will be available, as well as mini displayport adapters. Please bring any other adapters that you may need.

Please let us know if you want to use an on-site computer for your presentation.
Specific instruction for the 3DUI sessions in Visual Arena

Please avoid putting important content and text in the lower 25% of the slide, as this may be hard to see for some of the audience.

The screen is big (6 x 3.2 m), it has a high resolution (2K, 2048 x 1080, upscaled to 4K); and people will be sitting relatively close.
Preparation
There will be a 'speaker prep room' that you can utilize, located in Kuggen, 3rd floor (room 'Windows'). As early as convenient, kindly book time with a student volunteer, who will guide you there.
