VRST 2026 will take place at the Research Institute of Electrical Communication, Tohoku University, from Monday, November 16 to Wednesday, November 18, 2026.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In return for their assistance, student volunteers will be able to register for the full conference free of charge 20 to 25 hours at the conference to volunteer duties<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Be able to attend the conference in Sendai, Japan for its whole duration, including the SV orientation on Sunday, November 15, 2026<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups and countries in the VR community to apply for student volunteer positions. You will also receive a happi coat, a traditional Japanese festival jacket, so people are able to recognize you at the conference.
