Anthony Steed - University College London

Abstract

I will give a European view on current and future trends in virtual reality software and technology. I will attempt to cover EU-wide integrated research initiatives as well trends that are emerging from national and local activities.

Given the sheer breadth of work, some of this will be gross simplification, but I hope to pull out some unique research directions and discuss how these are influenced and motivated by industry and government.
